Another section of the shoe done. This part had an unsightly ding in the wood, but I think it's hidden well enough. I wonder if I should keep filling the whole shoe with doodles, or leave it as more of a partial decoration.

Shoodle: Model S, Version R, Phase 2
I got up early to get some stuff done, but the shoe was calling to me. So I added some more doodly bits.

Shoodle: Model S, Version R, Phase 1.5
It might not seem like much progress, but that's because you've never tried doodling on a slick-yet-bumpy wooden shoe.
Weddoodle
Wedding reception doodle from last night. Went well with the excellent food and yummy moscato. Congrats, Marc and Cynthia!

Shoodle: Model S, Version R, Phase 1
Today's drawing is just an incomplete part of a much larger project that I'm doing for my mom. At first, I was concerned that it wouldn't count as a day's drawing until the whole thing was complete.
But then I got together with my artist and scheduler and content manager executive vice president and tech liaison and PR rep and chef, and we made the executive decision that we could do whatever we wanted, because it's our blog. We can even speak in the Royal We if we so desire. Which we do.
So partial bits of a larger project count. Yay for committees.
Also, some of us didn't want to stay up all night drawing on the slick 3-dimensional surface that is far less conducive to relaxed doodling than plain flat paper. It takes much longer to do this newfangled doodle, and it requires complicated contortions, so we didn't even finish the first Doodle Clump (TM) before our hand cramped and gave up.

Happy Thursday doodle
Tonight's doodle is named "Blurble." There's nothing really new about this doodle, but I like how I turned out, and it makes me think of the word Blurble. So that's what I named it. Maybe I need to get some sleep.
Totally circular, man
A doodle that ended up looking surprisingly okay, considering it started out with a bunch of overlapping circles that were all drawn by hand and wildly misshapen. Maybe next time, using a compass would be a good idea.
Puffasaurus
A quick doodle that now looks like some kind of puffy-headed dinosaur. I tried turning it in different orientations, but none seemed right. Oh well.

Thing 1
The day kind of got away from me. Here's my attempt at a doodle, which ended up being not at all what I intended, and I don't like it very much, so I just stopped adding stuff to it.

An inconvenient blog platform
Since Blogger will apparently no longer let me update my blog from my phone or my iPad, I wasn't able to post my drawing from yesterday until I got home very late last night, which was actually this morning, and by then I was too tired and didn't care, and I didn't remember to post it today until just now. So here's yet another day-old doodle. Stupid Blogger.

Lazy
Here's my drawing for today. Inspired by Big Bang Theory and tiredness after a very long week. Plus, two more spiders today. Giant ones.

Spidey Sense
Here are four spiders, sitting on a spider web like spiders should do. Because of this acceptable behavior, these spiders are still alive, not squashed by a shoe or decimated by a salt gun.
Wednesdays are hard
On Wednesdays, I leave my home at about 8am and return around 11pm, and the whole day is filled with work and driving and martial artsing and and driving. By the time I get home, all I want to do is crawl into bed and get unconscious. So my Wednesday drawings are not likely to get posted until Thursday. So here's today's tiny doodle, with is less than 2" square, drawn on the corner of a scrap piece of paper. Nothing spectacular, but at least it's tiny.

Ephemeral, transitory, and fleeting
After much playing around with the Buddha Board app on my iPad, here are two captured moments in time. The water marks are continuously shifting from dark to light, so nothing is permanent (except when I do a screen grab).

Synapses gone wild
Today's drawing is in honor of my headache that came on this afternoon. Not a big deal, just a crippling blinding thing.

Doodle Undoodled
And now we're back into the real doodles -- the ones that take a million years to draw. This one was drawn with the rage that comes with watching Django Unchained.

All in a day's work
I guess I never posted my drawing from yesterday. As it's a depiction of my state of mind last night, maybe you can see how the slip happened.

Chalk up another drawing
My brain is overflowing and my body is tired. Here's a pretty land where the flowers are big, the grass grows confetti, and the sky is chalkboard green.

The knowledge in my head is quite buckety
Long day of learning. Brain full of swirling bits of thinkage. First days are exhilarating and enervating at the same time.

'Twas the Night before Jobmas
Tomorrow, I'll be starting my new (temporary) job as an almost-librarian. I'm a real librarian, but my job title isn't, although I will be doing some librarian tasks. I'm all nervous like it's the first day of school. So I drew myself all ready, like I will be in the morning.
Happy 6th of July
Here's my obligatory drawing of a super awesome, possibly Bollywood, rendition of fireworks. Now I can get back to enjoying the sun and friends and booze.
Note: My blog is not playing nice with my phone or my iPad, so I wasn't able to get this up on my blog until now, but I really did draw it yesterday afternoon. Karol saw it. True story.
