Blogger is really chapping my hide.

So I'm way behind in posting my drawings. I've been doing drawings, but I can't post them through my phone or my iPad, and now the website version won't even let me upload pictures. So we'll all just have to dream about doodly goodness until Blogger can figure out what's going on, or until I get fed up with it and switch blog platforms. Grrr.

Tuesday was better

Tuesday was a better day than Monday. Much better. A billion times better. Here's a hastily made doodle with the letter L. L is for Librarian! L is also for Lola, who I work with, so I gave this doodle to her.

Monday was a long, stressful day of waiting. Here's a sketchy doodle, messy and hardly even worth looking at.

Yesterday, I was too exhausted and grimy from a day working the ale house to do a drawing. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it. So here's a doodle on a map.

Didn't post a drawing on Saturday, but that was just because I was being super authentic with the whole Renaissance Faire thing. You're welcome, Mr Shakespeare.

Starting to get caught up

I'm egregiously behind in my daily drawing postings. I have been doing them, somewhat, but finding time and energy to actually get on my computer is troublesome. So here's Friday's doodle.

A little bit more progress this morning, including more camouflaging of the hideous scar. I'm almost getting used to doodling on a slick, bumpy, 3-dimensional surface. Good thing I have five more shoes to do.

Another section of the shoe done. This part had an unsightly ding in the wood, but I think it's hidden well enough. I wonder if I should keep filling the whole shoe with doodles, or leave it as more of a partial decoration.

Today's doodle was done while waiting in my car. No, the car wasn't in motion, or even turned on.

Today's drawing is just an incomplete part of a much larger project that I'm doing for my mom. At first, I was concerned that it wouldn't count as a day's drawing until the whole thing was complete.

But then I got together with my artist and scheduler and content manager executive vice president and tech liaison and PR rep and chef, and we made the executive decision that we could do whatever we wanted, because it's our blog. We can even speak in the Royal We if we so desire. Which we do.

So partial bits of a larger project count. Yay for committees.

Also, some of us didn't want to stay up all night drawing on the slick 3-dimensional surface that is far less conducive to relaxed doodling than plain flat paper. It takes much longer to do this newfangled doodle, and it requires complicated contortions, so we didn't even finish the first Doodle Clump (TM) before our hand cramped and gave up.

Happy Thursday doodle

Tonight's doodle is named "Blurble." There's nothing really new about this doodle, but I like how I turned out, and it makes me think of the word Blurble. So that's what I named it. Maybe I need to get some sleep.

Totally circular, man

A doodle that ended up looking surprisingly okay, considering it started out with a bunch of overlapping circles that were all drawn by hand and wildly misshapen. Maybe next time, using a compass would be a good idea.

Puffasaurus

A quick doodle that now looks like some kind of puffy-headed dinosaur. I tried turning it in different orientations, but none seemed right. Oh well.

Thing 1

The day kind of got away from me. Here's my attempt at a doodle, which ended up being not at all what I intended, and I don't like it very much, so I just stopped adding stuff to it.

An inconvenient blog platform

Since Blogger will apparently no longer let me update my blog from my phone or my iPad, I wasn't able to post my drawing from yesterday until I got home very late last night, which was actually this morning, and by then I was too tired and didn't care, and I didn't remember to post it today until just now. So here's yet another day-old doodle. Stupid Blogger.
