Day 11: Customized Calendar Pages
Today isn't a very fun project, but it's a necessary one that I've been putting off for too long.

I can never find a calendar/planner/schedule that suits my purposes, So I've designed my own. I've only printed one week so far, because I'm sire I'll have some changes to make as I start using it.

Day 9: Two Snub Dog Patterns
I decided to try a couple more patterns. This time, I used a doggy drawing by the Incredible Mat.
I still need to work on getting things spaced evenly throughout, but that's what practice is for.
To be honest, I rushed through this one a bit because I want to do some more doodling like yesterday. =)

Day 8: Doodling 4th Grade Style
Today I'm trying to recapture the creativity of my youth by doodling like I did in elementary school.

I started by scribbling my name in big loopy cursive, and then I filled in the blanks.
It has a watermelon wedge, which was an inexplicable staple of all my childhood art projects. But I'm particularly fond of the snaggle-toothed narwhal.
Today was a much better day of drawing. =)

Day 7: Sketchy Monsters
Today, I attempted to draw, using this book as a guide:

I can't say I'm happy with the results, but I guess doodling critters counts as making something new.

Someday, I'll learn to draw, and it shall be a glorious day. Until then, maybe I'll hold off on trying to use any more sketching as part of this 365 project.
