'Twas the Night before Jobmas

Tomorrow, I'll be starting my new (temporary) job as an almost-librarian. I'm a real librarian, but my job title isn't, although I will be doing some librarian tasks. I'm all nervous like it's the first day of school. So I drew myself all ready, like I will be in the morning.

Here's my obligatory drawing of a super awesome, possibly Bollywood, rendition of fireworks. Now I can get back to enjoying the sun and friends and booze.

Note: My blog is not playing nice with my phone or my iPad, so I wasn't able to get this up on my blog until now, but I really did draw it yesterday afternoon. Karol saw it. True story.

Not ready to (Chica)go

This is my last night in Chicago, and I'm sad to be leaving. I love the weather, the buildings, the people, and the trains. And living in a hotel with a fluffy king-size bed doesn't hurt.
