Day 339: Apple Cinnamon Cider

I made homemade cinnamon vodka.

Vodka plus super cheap cinnamon sticks from Winco.

It's a pretty red color and smells very cinnamony.

I mixed with hot apple cider, and it's pretty good.

I wonder what else it would go with.

Day 338: My Darling Clementine

Today I bottled and sampled my latest infused vodka - clementine.

You know, those awesome little oranges that mean Christmas is coming.

It's Friday, and it's been a long week, so a good time for new vodka.

It tastes very good with cranberry juice.

Day 337: Another Sorry Excuse for a Make

Today my make is my research proposal. Lame, I know, but tough. I don't have even an origami or a haiku in me.

Isn't it pretty?

Now, where's the vodka?

Day 336: JavaScriptacular

Today I finished up my last weekly assignment for my web design class. This time, the task was JavaScript, which is a bizarre little foreign language that can do some nifty things.

Take a gander at my JavaScript Gallery of Awesomeness.

Now to get back to my Giant Research Proposal of Doom, which you may be seeing as my make for Friday.

Day 335: Three if by Air

Today I made three paper airplanes out of a discarded library atlas.

First, we have the Arizona Dart. A fully serviceable, if not inspired, design. It flew directly into a Storables bag.

Next is the Arkansas Flying Squirrel. Surprisingly smooth and long-lasting glide for such a simple and stubby design.

Finally, I give you the Alabama Ring Wing. This one is truly amazing. It glides beautifully, despite being shaped like an ugly bracelet. Aerodynamics are crazy, man.

You can look forward to more paper airplanes in the next week or so. Finals.

Day 334: Mistress of Fowl Evil

Today I made a little sign for my very amazingly wondrous Malefiduck, custom made by the illustrious Mat Smith.

She has a place of honor on my bookshelf, next to Sock Zombie.

(FYI, Maleficent is called the Mistress of All Evil in Sleeping Beauty.)

Day 333: Bacon in the Tree

Today I used polymer clay to make a little bacon ornament for my little Xmas tree.

While I was at it, I turned the little clay Short Attention Span Girl I made a long time ago into an ornament as well.

It's beginning to look a little like Christmas.
